테스트전에 있으면 좋은 준비물

- 헤드셋 > 교사콘솔에서 학생들에게 음성 강의
- 와콤타블릿 > 판서 기능 활용

원격제어 툴 중에서 Radmin 만큼 상당히 강력하고 속도가 빠르다.
그 기능 또한 다양하여...
프로그래머가 많은 정성을 쏟은 것 같다.

NetSupport School 버전은 한글화되어 국내 대학, 학원에도 강의용으로 일부 배포되어 사용하고 있다. (한글화는 큰 장점)

그러나 가격대가 수백만원으로 좀 비싸고, 국내에서는 그다지 유명하지 않아

다른 VNC 툴에 비해 사용방법이 생소하면서 어렵다. 무료 버전이 없다. 일종의 이러닝 제품이다.

Radmin이 가장 뛰어난 것 같다.


평가판 : NetSupport School Professional Version 10.70 (2012.05 현재)

- 원격 제어를 받는 PC에 설치하는 클라이언트 버전도 무료가 아니며 30일 날짜 제한이 있다.
- 한국어를 선택하면 NetSupport School 만 다운로드 가능하고 영어를 선택하면 다른 제품도 평가할 수 있다.


CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT 기능

- Power On or Off all classroom computers from the Teacher PC.
- Perform a Remote "Log off" on all PCs.
- Send a Remote "Log in" to all Student PCs at the beginning of class.

- Blank Student Screens to gain attention.
- Lock the Student's Mouse and Keyboard when instructing.
- Automatically re-connect to Students PCs on Reboot.

학생 즉, 수업받는 사람은 학생만 선택하면 된다.

교사용을 선택하면 시험출제도구와 함께 설치된다.


교실이름은 일치시키는 것이 좋지만 나중에 변경 가능하다.






동영상 플레이어

학생들에게 동영상 파일로 영상을 보여줄 수 있으나 재생이 되지 않는 등 에러가 많다.

수많은 학생들의 PC들(클라이언트)을 관리할 수 있는 테크콘솔은 상당히 강력한 기능을 가지고 있다. 예를 들어 상대방 PC 화면을 강제로 잠근 다음에 그 PC의 자산목록을 체크할 수 있다.

NetSupport School Tutor (교사 콘솔)를 실행하고, 수업을 시작하는 방법

1. 먼저 교사 콘솔의 환경설정 항목에서 수업에 참석할 학생들을 선택하는 [학생 선택 방법 (Student Selection)]을 클릭한다.


2. 수업 마법사

아래 4가지 학생 선택 방법을 하나씩 테스트 해보는 것이 좋다.

(1) 교실 선택 (Room Mode)

Gateway Configuration – Creating Keys 매뉴얼 77페이지

Access to a Gateway/Name Server is protected by use of a Security Key. The Gateway will not accept connections from a Tutor or Student unless a "Gateway key" is specified, and that same key is also configured at both the Tutor and Student end. The Gateway can support multiple keys, at least one key must be specified. Select Add to specify the key. The Key must be at least 8 characters.



학생 client 자동시작과 종료는 별도의 메뉴가 없기때문에 서비스 스냅인에서 조정해야 한다.

조용한 밤에 내가 깜박 잊고 있는 것을 찾아가는 시간을 갖는다.

뉴욕타임즈 메인페이지에 기획기사가 있어서 알려드립니다.


뉴욕타임즈에 The New Old Age (Caring and Coping) 라는 블로그섹션인데

부모님 부양문제, 자녀와 부모님문제, 부양비용 등 주로 노인과 관련된 것들이다. 특히 노인부부에서 배우자가 병 또는 노환으로 사망해서 혼자 사는 경우 등 다양한 케이스를 기반으로 글을 엮고 있다.



타이틀: Married to the Job

그중에서 가장 인상적이고 생각할 것이 많은 "Married to the Job"에 대해 소개합니다. 나에게 또는 우리 주변에서 일어 날 수도 있는 일, 꼭 읽어보시길 권합니다.


(참고로 영화 Away From Her, 2006 과 The Notebook, 2004 은 치매에 걸린 배우자에 대한 노부부의 사랑이야기죠.)


여기서는 치매 판정을 받은 전직 대학교수였던 남편을 돌보고 있는 전직 영문학 교수이자 시인인 63세 아내(Rachel Hadas)의 어려움을 회상 형식으로 나타내고 있다.


부모님이 아파서 함께 살면서 돌봐야 하는 경우는 배우자가 아픈 경우와는 전혀 다르다고 말하고 있다. 자식들도 아버지가 아프면 어머니가 돌봐주시겠지라고 생각하는 것이다. 모든 것이 배우자 몫이다라는 것.


Ms. Hadas, an award-winning poet and an English professor, shouldered his care, intent on keeping him at home. 아내는 치매남편을 집에 있게 하는 것이 일이고


For several years, however, “he never smiled. He never talked,” Ms. Hadas told me, sadly. She grew intensely lonely. “You feel you’re not married anymore.”

그러나 결국 몇년 후에 치매남편은 말도 못하고...


When married people begin to suffer the ills and disabilities of aging, their spouses represent the first line of defense; children may not play a hands-on role until later, sometimes much later. Spouses made those promises about sickness and health, and most take them very seriously. 배우자 중에 한명이 아프면 first line of defense 가 바로 상대 배우자라는 것이다. 자식들도 직접 관여하지 않는다. 


그래서 Married to the Job 이라는 타이틀을 달았다. 여기서 the job 은 여러가지로 힘든 것들이겠죠.

워싱턴포스트 기자 출신 작가 Paula Span (http://www.paulaspan.com/) 이 쓴 책의 제목이다. 여기서 the Time은 가족의 어려움 또는 부모님의 죽음 이런 것을 말한다. 가족애가 가장 중요하다는 말. For everyone worrying about an elderly parent 에게 권하는 책이다.

제가 가끔 보는 뉴욕타임즈에는 Health 섹션이 별도로 있는데요.

저의 관심분야 육아(parenting), 오늘 육아에 관한 좋은 글이 있어 메인페이지에 소개되어 알려드려요. 미국사람도 우리랑 육아에 대한 생각이 같네요.


사진 보면 아이도 스트레스 받겠네요. 잘 안먹는 아이에 대해 고민이 많은 부모 많죠.


아래 글은 육아에 관한 웰가이드에 대한 가이드군요.

Healthy eating 부터 Joy of losing-실패를 즐기기-까지 12개의 토픽으로 콤보박스로 나누어 글을 연재하고 있는데 그렇게 색다르지는 않는 것 같습니다.
